Maysville Elementary School Named BETA School of Merit
Maysville Elementary School has been named a 2023-24 National Beta School of Merit. MES earned the recognition by offering National Beta to all eligible grades within the school.
The National Beta School of Merit award is given to honor a club's dedication and commitment to academic excellence. To achieve the prestigious honor, a school must include members from all eligible grade levels to be a member of the Beta Club. This year, only 49 percent of Beta Clubs throughout the nation earned the distinction.
Maysville Elementary joins East Jackson Elementary, East Jackson Middle, East Jackson High, Gum Springs Elementary and South Jackson Elementary as schools within the Jackson County School System that have earned the Beta School of Merit distinction.
