JEFFERSON — The Jackson County School System Board of Education has been named a 2023 Exemplary School Board, by the Georgia School Boards Association.
The recognition program is designed to showcase best practices in school governance and leadership. GSBA recognizes good school board governance to foster educational community cultures in order to advance student learning and achievement. The Exemplary School Board recognition is the highest recognition honor, among the three levels awarded by GSBA.
The Jackson County Board of Education met and exceeded the criteria set forth by GSBA to earn the 2023 Exemplary recognition.
The Jackson County Board of Education includes Chairman Mr. Beau Hollett, Vice Chairperson Ms. Lynne Massey-Wheeler, Board members Mr. Rob Johnson, Mr. Ricky J. Sanders and Mr. Ty Clack.
