Welcome to Maysville Elementary Pre-K!

Welcome to the Maysville Elementary School Pre-K program! Georgia Early Learning Development Standards (GELDS) are used to make every moment with your child a learning opportunity. The GELDS are aligned with the Kindergarten Common Core Georgia Performance Standards (http://gelds.decal.ga.gov/ ).  Our Pre-K program reflects an understanding of how children learn by emphasizing active learning, consistent daily routines, and the use of positive behavioral management and assessment strategies. The school readiness goals of our Pre-K program provide appropriate experiences emphasizing growth in language and literacy, math concepts, science, social studies, arts, physical development, and social and emotional competence. We look forward to an amazing year in Pre-K!
